Reporting to the Database Manager, the ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow and develop within the role.**Day-to-day responsibilities include:*** Supporting the database team in the ongoing maintenance of EPOS systems* Updating and managing product standards across categories, pricing, and branding* Collaborating with wholesale purchasing teams and third-party suppliers to ensure accurate product data* Liaising with external service providers (e.g., McLernons, Azpiral) to deliver optimal support to the business* Adhering to and continuously improving database processes* Ensuring timely import and setup of approved products* Configuring promotions and loyalty offers in line with promotional calendars* Responding to store EPOS queries promptly and professionally* Assisting with any additional database-related projects or requests as needed**Key Skills & Experience*** **Advanced Excel skills** with the ability to manipulate, analyse, and present large datasets effectively* Strong general **IT knowledge**, particularly in working with data-driven systems (non-networking)* Proven experience managing and maintaining **large databases** and handling high volumes of product or transactional data* Demonstrated ability to **compile clear, insightful management reports** from available data sources* Familiarity with **EPOS systems** is essential — this role is focused on EPOS operations and **does not involve IT networking, Python, or SQL development*** Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy and integrity* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, purchasing, and supplier teams**Additional Information**This role is based in **Citywest, Dublin**, and will require regular in-person collaboration. Flexibility is offered through a hybrid working model.
