Tax Manager

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team of specialist tax professionals. Based in Dublin 4, our client is a leading tax firm that prides itself on providing expert advice and solutions to clients from all sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on complex taxation matters, including corporate tax, personal tax, and international tax.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients regularly to discuss their tax needs and provide tailored advice.
- Draft client advice letters and memos with guidance from our tax director.
- Research and advise on complex tax matters, including:
- Tax reliefs for business transfers
- Tax implications of residence changes
- Tax reliefs for business sales
- Liaise with Revenue and clients regarding Revenue Interventions, including domicile levy, connected party transactions, and CGT valuations.
- Represent clients at TAC appeals and prepare/review tax computations and income tax returns.
- Supervise tax trainees and participate in weekly training sessions.
About You:
- Certificate in Taxation (CTA) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1-2 years post-qualification experience in tax, preferably in personal tax or corporate tax.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to interpret tax legislation.
