Role: Finance Officer Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly Tenure: Permanent (70 hours per fortnight) The Finance Officer will work closely with the Finance Business Partner and other Managers within the Finance Department. They will provide proactive support ensuring the administration of an effective and efficient system of financial cost control in relation to areas of designated responsibility whilst ensuring that appropriate and accurate accounting procedures are maintained. The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following: At least 5 Years Relevant Experience in a finance function. Experience in a Section 38 publicly funded desirable. Month end accounting balance sheet reconciliation. Experience in compiling presenting and explaining financial reports to non- finance personnel. Experience in producing detailed and summarised variance analysis reports. Communication & Interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational, logistical and I.T skills an advantage. Knowledge of Totalmobile and/or Core HR would be a distinct advantage. Flexible and capable of managing competing priorities within their workload. Displays problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail required. Work on their own initiative as well as being a team player supporting their colleagues Willing to undertake education and training as may be required for the role. As part of the role, you will be required to travel between locations.
