About the Practice:
This thriving, mixed animal practice is looking for an enthusiastic Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. With state-of-the-art facilities and a team of dedicated professionals, they offer a comprehensive range of veterinary services to both small and large animals. They are committed to providing the highest standards of care and continuously invest in their people and technology.

Key Highlights:

1. Full-time role (40 hours per week), with a 1 in 4 on-call rota
2. Competitive salary of up to €60,000, plus an attractive benefits package, based on experience
3. Modern facilities including 2 fully equipped operating theatres, in-house lab, ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, radiography, dental suite, and more
4. A highly experienced team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, including 2 certificate holders in cardiology and anaesthesia, alongside skilled nurses and support staff
5. 1 in 4 weekend rota
6. Strong community ties with local small animal rescue groups

The Role:
This is a mixed role, where you'll have the opportunity to work with both small and large animals. The position offers variety, hands-on experience, and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking team that values professional development. Whether you're experienced or early in your career, you'll receive full support and training to help you grow in your role.

1. A qualified veterinary surgeon registered with the VCI and eligible to work in Ireland
2. Enthusiastic and proactive, with a passion for animal care and a strong desire to develop professionally
3. Able to work well both independently and as part of a supportive, dynamic team
4. Open to all experience levels - they provide mentorship and development opportunities for those who need it

The Package:

1. 22 days annual leave, plus your birthday off
2. €1300 CPD allowance annually, with 5 paid CPD days
3. Funding for further qualifications (Certificates, Diplomas, PhDs)
4. VCI membership and VDS cover paid
