Are you studying for a qualification in Engineering with specialisation in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Energy, Computer Science, Networking or other STEM related profession?

Schneider Electric Ireland Undergraduate Programme

Working as part of the Schneider Electric Ireland Operations Team, you will gain exposure to one or more areas of our engineering operations team. At Schneider Electric, we support all industry segments including Data Centres, pharmaceutical & life sciences, Commercial buildings, renewables and utilities.

The objective of our Undergraduate Programme is to give you an opportunity to experience the energy sector while undertaking real engineering work as part of a team. If you join us, you will grow professionally, develop key engineering & teamwork skills and actively contribute to real engineering projects. You could also finish up with a full time position on our Graduate Development Programme or a further Undergraduate offer.

The undergraduate programme has a wide variety of opportunities:

- Digital Power team: work on data centre, pharmaceutical & life sciences customer sites to deploy Power Monitoring, Control and Automation software solutions.
- Digital Buildings team: work on commercial buildings, pharmaceutical & life sciences customer sites to deploy Building Management solutions.
- Power Systems team: gain exposure to Medium Voltage and Low Voltage power distribution projects helping customers to safely and efficiently manage power distribution at scale.
- Secure Power team: gain exposure to critical power and cooling technologies for Datacenter customers.

What we look for in candidates:

- Working towards a Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Enjoy working as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to learn quickly.
- Flexibility regarding work location (willingness to travel to site & a full clean driving licence is an advantage).
- Experience with MS Office.
