We are presently recruiting for a Civil Engineer for our clients in County Kerry. This position is ideally suited to a recent graduate who is looking to gain hands-on experience in the sector. Reporting to Senior Civil Engineers, you will be required to undertake technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs on a daily basis. This position is based in an office in County Kerry and will require site visits in Kerry and Cork.

Responsibilities

- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of subcontractors.
- Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
- Managing budgets and project resources.
- Scheduling material and equipment.
- Ensuring the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Monitoring progress and compiling reports on project status.
- Managing budget and purchasing equipment/materials.

Requirements

A relevant Third Level degree along with a full driving licence is required. Salary in the region of €30 – 35,000 will be offered along with additional benefits.
