TTM healthcare are currently recruiting a Social Care Worker and a Social Care Leader on behalf of Ireland’s leading Mainstream Children’s Residential Services based in County Clare.

These are full time permanent contracts working 39 hours per week.

Social Care Workers and Leaders in a Residential setting work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to service users. Children / young people may be referred to a residential setting for a number of reasons by the Social Work department e.g. family breakdown / separation, history of neglect, sexual / physical abuse, addiction or mental health issues. Residential care aims to provide a therapeutic care placement to service users who most often present with emotional or behavioural difficulties and cannot live with their own families.

Salary scale for Social Care Worker
€39,951 to €56,089

Salary scale for Social Care Leader
€55,793 to €65,155

Premium rates can account for an extra €5,000 to €8,000 on top of your annual salary. Successful candidates can expect premium rates on top of the above.

Requirements

Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board (CORU) or hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary)

Hold a BA in Social Care or be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register (evidence of application will be necessary) and have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office.

Must be fully flexible to work across all rosters - Days, Nights and weekends inclusive.

Must hold a clean manual full Irish license.

No sponsorship given all applicants must be eligible to live and work in Ireland.
