Cloud Support Engineer (CSE)는 AWS 서비스를 사용하는 고객을 대상으로 장애에 대한 troubleshooting 및 general guidance 등의 기술지원을 수행합니다. CSE는 소속된 Profile에 따라 다수의 AWS 서비스를 지원합니다. Profile은 다음과 같이 분류되어 있습니다.

1. Computing (Linux/Windows)
2. Networking, Security
3. Storage & Contents Delivery Network
4. Deployment
5. Developer & Mobile Services (Serverless, Web Mobile, IoT)
6. Database, Analytics, Big Data

채용 프로세스 진행 시에는 후보자분께서 지금까지 경험하신 배경, 기술적 스킬 등을 검토하여 개인별로 담당분야를 정하게 됩니다. 입사후에는 다양한 기술분야를 학습하실 수 있는 On-Boarding 기간을 갖게 됩니다. 팀 간 교류도 많아 기술 향상을 목적으로 다른 팀의 서비스를 취급할 수도 있습니다.

주요 책임:

1. AWS의 최첨단 기술 습득 및 활용
2. 이슈 발생 시 Case를 통한 고객 지원
3. 고객 개별 요구에 대하여 상황에 맞는 적절한 해결책을 제공하기 위한 Trouble Shooting 업무
4. 전세계 최고 엔지니어와의 교류
5. AWS의 개발팀, Technical Account Manager 및 Solutions Architect와 협업하여 고객의 문제 해결을 지원
6. 고객을 위한 AWS 서비스 개선사항에 대해 사내 AWS 팀에 피드백 제공
7. 지원 관련 프로세스 및 고객의 기술지원 경험을 개선하는 프로젝트 추진
8. AWS의 고객 커뮤니티에 Tutorial 및 기술 관련 기사 투고
9. 여러 AWS 서비스에 걸친 매우 복잡하고 중요한 고객문제에 대한 대응

AWS Cloud Support Engineer는 한국 뿐만 아니라 전 세계 톱 엔지니어들과 협력하면서 AWS가 제공하는 다양한 클라우드 서비스에 대한 기술지원을 제공하기 위해 네트워크에서 OS, 애플리케이션 수준까지 다양한 레이어에서의 경험을 집중적으로 쌓을 수 있습니다. 또한 AWS의 환경을 자유롭게 이용하여 다양한 검증과 기술 향상에 도움이 됩니다. 결과적으로 Full Stack Engineer로 크게 성장을 기대할 수 있는 매력적인 포지션입니다.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
