Project & Administration Support Worker Sandyford PICES (CE Scheme ) / Southside Partnership DLR

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Overview Job Description
Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: The following is not an exhaustive list of the duties associated with the post but is intended for the guidance of the person assigned to the job.
Provide technical assistance and administrative support to the Centre Coordinator.
Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, writing minutes and sending out meeting materials.
Preparation of Purchase Orders (POs), and maintaining of financial record files in connection with the programme.
Photocopy and file all hard copies of relevant files, order of relevant stationary as needed.
Organise and prepare the centre for courses and workshop delivery.
Support adult learners when appropriate in accessing the Women’s Programme.
Make and take calls to participants to provide information on the Women’s Programme.
Assist with organising and managing of community-based activities in the centre and in different venues around the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area.
Assist in compiling information needed for reports and for monitoring purposes.
Help bring in new participants to engage in existing activities.
Attend training and team meetings as required.
Adhere to Data Protection policies and practices to ensure compliance with GDPR.
Engage with other duties relevant to the role that may be assigned from time to time.
Adhere to confidentiality and information sharing protocols.
Report for work at the appointed hour and leave at the appropriate time.
Person Specifications:
Organisational and administrative experience desirable - Good IT skills including MS Office applications / database etc.
Familiarity with MS Office packages.
Pleasant, friendly, have a welcoming manner, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates should have an excellent telephone manner.
Commitment to confidentiality, respect for the female participants for the programme and adhere to current GDPR regulations.
Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Previous administration and project support experience would be an advantage.
Commitment to the principles of equality and social inclusion.
Full training will be provided to assist the successful candidate to settle into the role.
