Bid Specialist

AtkinsRéalis one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland. AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Bid Specialist to join our busy team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have bid preparation experience, and a background in the engineering / construction sector while not essential would be an advantage.
The role is suited to a commercially aware multitasker who can organize and prioritize assigned bids. An excellent communicator, they will coordinate inputs from a wide variety of stakeholders for all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality and compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner.
Various teams will provide technical expertise, project knowledge and background to support you to prepare and secure winning bids.
We need the planner & project manager, communicator, and completer finisher with an eye for detail. Being creative and diverse in our thinking is part of what gives us the competitive edge, and you will be at the heart of delivering high quality bid submissions to our growing client base.
Your purpose:
Role responsibilities-
Coordinating the delivery of high-quality bid submissions (PQQs / SAQs) to support Bid and Project Managers, and the Bid team.
Researching, tracking and monitoring tender opportunities and managing tender portals as required.
Working with the wider team to ensure the adoption of the latest techniques and tools to deliver successful bids.
Development of organisation charts, CVs and case studies for bid submissions.
Create and update opportunity and bid records in the company CRM system as required.
Create and manage SharePoint sites and MS Teams sites for bid activities.
Ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis’ procedures and the development and adoption of best practice.
What you can bring:
The Individual-
Knowledge of Ireland’s Public Procurement bidding process.
A proven track record of successfully delivering PQQs / SAQs.
Results orientated, inspiring, hard-working, and flexible, who works well as part of any bid team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
A flexible individual available to manage and deliver to time schedules driven by submission deadlines and client demands.
Ability to maximise the use of tools such as Office365 and InDesign (optional).
Experience using CRM within a bid environment (Microsoft would be an advantage).
Degree level and equivalent professional qualifications (desirable).
