About Your New Job as a Global Materials & Planning Operations Leader:
- Manage the planning and delivery team including employee training, development, and career progression.
- Establish the planning and delivery processes.
- Ensure planning and delivery processes are implemented correctly and aligned to the Center Of Excellence governance.
- Work with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plan into physical orders.
- Be responsible for executing the product line order strategies (allocations) relative to regions and manufacturing plants.
- Provide overall planning and delivery guidance for orders.
- Be responsible for routing orders to the various plants.
- Manage and process order exceptions.
- Manage communication between the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery with respect to order dates.
- Plan deliveries such that inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitments.
- Work with the region Sales and Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push outs, pull ins).
- Ensure orders are appropriately maintained in SAP (aged orders, etc.). Manage Global inventory strategy and execution.
What Skills You Need to Succeed as a Global Materials & Planning Operations Leader:
- Have a Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience.
- Have a minimum of 7 years experience in order management, inventory optimization, and management, asset utilization, and management.
- Have a deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality (min. 7 years experience).
- Experience in the oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
- Have strategic thinking with tactical execution and a sense of urgency.
- Be able to demonstrate experience managing and developing teams (Min. 15 years experience).
- Have Certifications in APICS is advantageous.
- Have global people leader experience with demonstrated Leader of Choice capabilities (Drive Culture, Inspire People, Achieve Results, Growth Mindset).
- Be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland.
