The location of this role is Westminister Road, Foxrock, Dublin 18, D18 KX82. Job Advert Reporting Relationship Report Directly to the Clinical Operations Manager (COM) or anyone else as directed by the COM Purpose of the Post 1.To ensure Trinity Care Nursing Homes exceed regulatory and internal requirements and standards. 2.To provide a homely friendly environment for our residents. 3.To meet the requirements of the role you hold as per the job description. Eligibility criteria Experience Essential: Minimum three years (within the last 6 years) post graduate experience of nursing Older People. Minimum of three years experience in Management NMBI Registration QQI Level 6 in Leadership/People Management at minimum Post graduate qualification in Gerontology or clinical management Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process Maintains Professional development on a continuous basis Essential skills, competencies, attributes and/or knowledge Professional Knowledge Essential: 1.Knowledge of HIQAs National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland, and others as applicable 2.Demonstrate sound knowledge of older people. Attributes / Personality: 1.Be compassionate and empathetic to the needs of our residents and colleagues. 2.Be friendly, enthusiastic and promote a positive atmosphere in all situations. 3.Show initiative and be proactive in continuous quality improvements. 4.Be respectful, non judgmental, loyal, trustworthy and honest to their colleagues, to our residents and to the Company. 5.Have the willingness to enable change, manage difficult situations and progress with the Company. 6.Be able to learn and adapt skills from colleagues. 7.Be conscientious in assessments and documentation. 8.Be organized; be able to work efficiently and effectively in a team orientated environment. 9.Be inspirational, for yourself, your colleagues, our residents and be a role model to other employees members at Trinity Care Nursing Homes. 10.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
