About the role: Flogas is seeking an experiencedProduct Development Managerto drive innovation and growth by collaborating with teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory Services, IT, and external suppliers. This role is key in shaping and delivering products and propositions that support the companys ambitious growth objectives and its commitment to helping Irish energy users transition to sustainable energy solutions. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play a central role in advancing business development, contributing to meaningful impact, and driving the success of Flogas as a leader in the energy transition. Please note, this is a 12-month, fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities: Product and proposition development based on customer business and segment needs Understanding and leveraging the new IT platform which will offer significant product and price-based opportunities Taking a lead across research and insights and working to develop a better understanding of customers and the market from desk research, surveys, bespoke market research, and data analytics. Smart meter programme management and development identifying propositions that are anchored in the Smart meter programme being rolled out nationwide, to develop evolving price based and integrated product and service propositions The microgeneration programme, working with the renewable development team to develop a suite of microgeneration and finance options to help stimulate the expansion of solar in the SME market Exploring proposition requirements needed to enter new associated energy markets across Ireland Working with the Sales and Pricing teams to help develop new pricing propositions to differentiate us in the market, across key consumer and commercial segments Identifying improvements to the way we work, across sales marketing and proposition development Working on a variety of projects with the purpose of improving ways of working in Flogas. Providing team leadership and support on future business integration where necessary Developing and expanding and leading the team as appropriate. Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field, complemented by at least five years of experience in a sales-driven, project-focused environment, preferably within the energy or utility sector. They will possess exceptional project management skills, a solid grasp of financial principles, and a proven track record in process improvement, with Six Sigma experience being a distinct advantage. A strong aptitude for compliance and regulation is essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will excel in quantitative analysis and reporting, enabling sound decision-making. Their meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure high-quality outputs in all aspects of their role.
