We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our Unit Linked Team in our Investment Operations department.
This role will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality investment operations, ensuring our Unit Trust book meets client needs and adheres to planned activity levels and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Delivery of Unit Linked activity:
Provide a Unit Linked capability that meets planned activity levels and client needs, ensuring standards are met or exceeded in a timely and error-free manner.
Scope of service relates to a Unit Trust book across all business lines.
Unit Linked activity includes:
Matching position exposures to prescribed limits by sector, category, and company.
Ensuring asset pricing accuracy and currency.
Producing daily, weekly, and monthly NAVs.
Managing with-profit pricing.
Monitoring settlement and cash flows to ensure accounts are funded.
Tracking and applying dividends.
Reconciliation of bank, broker accounts, and stock positions.
Handling due diligence, onboarding, fund closures, and redirections.
Following regulatory steps for underlying assets within deadlines.
Maintaining Fund Portal.
Using external banking systems competently.
Resolving complex issues and complaints effectively.
Escalating client issues appropriately for timely resolution.
Adhering to processing instructions within target times and resolving delays.
Processing instructions error-free and on time.
Providing timely feedback to relevant parties.
Keeping process maps and procedures current.
Monitoring productivity standards and flagging cash flow variances.
Escalating errors/incidents and reporting statistics and KPIs.
Planning & Development Understanding planned requirements and assisting in implementing new products.
Engaging with stakeholders professionally, including plan holders, brokers, IFAs, custodians, committees, and fund managers.
Implementing best practices and sharing improvement ideas.
Aligning behaviors with company values and pursuing personal development.
Project Implementation and Productivity Improvements Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
Supporting key projects to improve quality and productivity, including platform migrations and workflow enhancements.
Implementing process changes to increase customer satisfaction and maintain a client-centric approach.
Risk Management Embedding risk management within the function, ensuring timely clearance of assurance actions and control breaches.
Other Related Duties Performing additional roles as required by management for departmental effectiveness.
Keeping skills updated and developing self for current and future needs.

Key Requirements Proven experience at Senior Administrator level, ideally within the finance sector, with NAV exposure.
