You will be responsible for:

- Master Data Management: Lead the creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of master data, ensuring alignment with global standards and business needs.

- Define the data assets & standards within the Operations data domain (SOPs, WI, Info Models)

- Approve data change requests within the data domain

- Assist in the development of data quality KPIs for relevant data domain

- Provide data stewardship as a service to the relevant operations functions

- Governance & Policy Enforcement: Implement and champion data governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures for master data across functions.

- Data Quality Monitoring: Analyze, monitor, and improve master data quality, resolving discrepancies, and proactively identifying data-related issues.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Commercial, Regulatory, etc.) to understand master data requirements and provide stewardship.

- Process Improvement: Develop and optimize data management workflows, automation tools, and reporting mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency.

- Training & Support: Mentor junior team members, provide training on MDM practices, and support end-users in data-related queries and issue resolution.

- Change Management: Participate in data migration, system implementation, and integration projects, ensuring adherence to data standards.

- Assist the data manager in the creation of the data roadmap and work with Technology business partners to maximize the use of data lake to facilitate decision‑making, KPI tracking and reporting across the organization

- Compliance: Ensure all master data processes comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, GxP).

You will need to have:

- 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management or Data Governance, preferably in a life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, OMP) and MDM tools.

- Advanced knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management principles.

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

- Experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, SOX, GxP) is an advantage.

- Ability to decipher and organize large amounts of data and drive insights that enable better decisions.

- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist.

- Ability to influence, build strong relationships with business partners at all levels throughout the organization.

- Strong team management and motivation skills.

We would prefer for you to have:

- Experience in SAP ECC6 or S4/Hana.

- Experience of data management in SAP MDG or equivalent platform.

- Experience in Planning systems (e.g., OMP).
