As Wedding & Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering weddings, private functions, and corporate events from enquiry through to execution. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service. Our client is a high-end, award-winning hotel nestled in the heart of Killarney. Known for its stunning location, elegant surroundings, and top-tier service, the hotel is a sought-after destination for weddings and events of all sizes. The property offers a collaborative team environment and a commitment to excellence across every department. Key Duties & Responsibilities Manage all aspects of wedding and event planning and coordination Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial enquiry through to event completion Prepare and manage event proposals, contracts, and function sheets Coordinate closely with internal departments (kitchen, banqueting, front office, etc.) to ensure smooth execution Conduct site visits and client meetings, delivering a professional and warm experience Ensure events are executed to the highest standard, exceeding client expectations Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource requirements for each event Assist in developing packages, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive bookings Requirements Proven experience in wedding and/or event management within a hotel or venue setting Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A keen eye for detail and a proactive, guest-focused mindset Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by events schedule Proficiency in event systems and Microsoft Office Suite Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland Visa and relocation packages are not provided Salary & Benefits Salary: €45,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience) Opportunities for career progression within a luxury hotel group Access to professional development and training programs A dynamic and supportive working environment Skills: Time Management Communication Management
