KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Develop comprehensive resource-targeted schedules with critical paths post-assignment, aligning with budgetary considerations for assigned projects under the guidance of the Project Review Manager.
2. Develop detailed resource schedules for key subcontractors.
3. Generate weekly and bi-weekly progress reports, analysing actual progress against target schedules and critical paths.
4. Oversee on-site progress monitoring activities.
5. Create schedules to support claims for EOT and compensation.
6. Participate in site meetings to assist the Contract Manager.
7. Collaborate closely with the Pre-Construction/Project Review Manager, Contracts Manager, and other relevant stakeholders.

DETAILED ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop tender stage schedules with critical paths.
2. Create resource histograms as needed.

YOU WILL HAVE:

1. Demonstrated track record in estimating within the Irish market for over 5 years.
2. A relevant 3rd level qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or a related field.
3. Previous experience in tendering for projects ranging from €1m to €100m is essential.
4. Sound familiarity with subcontractors, construction outputs, and pricing for labour, equipment, and materials.
5. Proficient grasp of data analysis techniques.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a strong aptitude for teamwork.
7. Competent in handling tender documentation and diligent in report submission.
8. Proficiency in computer usage, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and preferably with experience in estimating software.
