Job Overview
The Product Specialist will provide procedural and product expertise to targeted customers and Key Opinion Leaders through field travel, meeting attendance, educational seminars, and case observations. This role involves managing all aspects of business in the field, building relationships, and providing product education on compression solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets and objectives.
Generate new business and maintain existing accounts.
Educate clinical personnel on product options, compression levels, measurements, and applications.
Facilitate measuring for compression products and develop strong clinical relationships.
Provide technical training and support for the use and fitting of compression products.
Organize educational sessions and study day programs to enhance clinicians' understanding and usage of compression products.
Explore new clients, market potential, and business opportunities.
Gather and report market intelligence on competitor products and activities.
Support product evaluations and clinical studies where necessary.
Participate in trade shows, training, and marketing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in a clinical/nursing setting and/or previous sales experience in the medical devices sector is desirable.
Background knowledge and experience in lymphoedema is an advantage.
Strong sales and territory management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and occasionally abroad for training.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Full, clean driver's license.
