Person in Charge Lotus Care provides a range of respite, residential and support services to Children & Adults with intellectual disabilities in a homely and comfortable community setting. We aim to empower people with the necessary skills to live full and satisfying lives as equal citizens of their local communities. Role Overview Reporting to: Regional Services Manager Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (some on-call as required) Working Week: 40 hours a week Location of Work: Co. Kildare Responsible for 2 centres What We Offer Attractive Salary 23 days Annual Leave Pension Scheme Annual bonus Employee of the Month Scheme CPD Support Refer a Friend Scheme On-going mentoring and support Employee Assistance Programme Role Responsibilities Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Oversee and implement each persons Personal Plan through regular reviews. Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support. Support the PIC in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards. Ensure delivery of appropriate, person-centred care and support for daily living activities. Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport, and rosters. Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for assigned staff. Support staff development through training, personal development planning, and reviews. Keep records and databases up to date, including monitoring and auditing processes. Act as a point of contact for the service, addressing queries professionally and promptly. Essential Requirements Minimum of a Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent. Previous experience in the ID sector, preferably in a management/supervisory role In the process of CORU registration Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
