Reports to: Operations Director
Location: Multi Site (with Travel to Client Premises)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and manage health, safety and environmental compliance across our multi-site operations. This is a hands-on management role, supporting both day-to-day compliance and long-term safety culture development within Samsic Facility.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement health & safety policies and ensure legal compliance.
Manage risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
Oversee safety documentation (RAMS, SSOW, SDS) and ergonomic assessments.
Monitor training compliance and deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Lead fleet safety and driving compliance across the company's vehicle fleet.
Support the company's environmental and sustainability goals.
Ensure readiness for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits and maintain certifications.
Manage a small team and work closely with managers and clients to drive a positive safety culture.
Requirements: 5+ years' experience in a health & safety leadership role, ideally across multiple sites
Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and ISO standards
Proven experience in incident management, risk control and compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to travel to various company and client locations
Preferred Skills: Experience in sectors such as facilities management, data centres, cleanrooms or regulated environments
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification
Experience with ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives and reporting
Familiarity with HIQA, GMP or other regulated standards
Manual Handling and Safe Pass instructor certification (or oversight experience)
