Overview Clinical Nurse Manager Cardiology CNM1 Grade – Cork Hospital. Experienced Cardiology Nurses ONLY. This is a Clinical Nurse Manager position, CNM1 Grade, in Cardiology Ward.
Responsibilities Lead and manage Cardiology nursing teams and clinical activities in the Cardiology Ward.
Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical governance.
Participate in quality improvement activities, clinical audits, risk management, and ongoing professional development.
Work on own initiative or as part of a team; provide leadership and supervision as required.
Qualifications Registered General Nurse with NMBI.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in Cardiology care.
At least 5 years post-registration experience with a minimum of two years in Cardiology Nursing.
Cardiology experience ESSENTIAL for this role.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to delivering high-standard patient care.
Proven clinical and professional abilities.
Management experience is desirable but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills; leadership and management abilities.
Good IT skills; quality focus; risk management and clinical audit experience.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team; approachable demeanor.
