A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join the Accounts Receivable team on a 1-year fixed-term contract to provide operational support during a parental leave cover. There is potential for extension or permanency based on business needs and performance.
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, this position is responsible for executing core AR tasks, resolving issues, reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency, and supporting team coordination.
Key Responsibilities Post and apply multi-currency customer receipts daily and resolve allocation queries promptly.
Analyse payments and investigate unapplied items to ensure high-value settlements are accurately applied and reconciled.
Manage a shared mailbox, triaging requests and inquiries efficiently.
Support the team in achieving close timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
Review work completed by other AR staff and provide guidance.
Work closely with management to identify process improvements, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation opportunities.
Prepare and post journal entries, maintain accurate procedural documentation, and assist with GL, debtor, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to a strong control environment.
Resolve AR issues across Enterprise and eCommerce platforms by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Need Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cash application or a similar accounting or analysis-based role.
Team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in an organized and detail-oriented manner.
Solid understanding of accounting entries.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
