Our client is looking for a Mobile Services Senior Cloud Support SRE Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and security of cloud services across the EU region What You'll Do: - Tackle challenges related to scalability, reliability, performance and efficiency at various layers of the stack. - Administer, maintain, and automate systems to guarantee reliability, resiliency, scalability and security. - Monitor and debug issues across mobile services (applications, networks, databases) while providing technical resolutions and conducting root cause analysis for high-severity incidents. - Design, deploy and operate automated, resilient and scalable components/services. - Develop and deliver timely reports on service metrics such as availability, capacity, performance and latency across all production systems. - Continuously enhance operations by automating routine tasks and documenting new procedures. - Manage and grow a talented team of System Engineering experts, fostering an inclusive work environment. - Collaborate with the System Engineering Manager and recruiting staff to expand the team through interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees. What We Need: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, with at least 3+ years as an Internet Distributed Systems Engineer or SRE managing a SaaS/PaaS environment (e.g., AWS-based applications). - 3+ years of team leadership/coordination experience. - Deep expertise in managing Linux-based environments. - Familiarity with network technologies (TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, WAN routing). - Strong understanding of incident management, change management, and problem management. - A systematic problem-solving approach paired with effective communication skills and a proactive mindset.
