Company Intro / Summary A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their office-based team in Dublin. Specialising in large-scale infrastructure and civil works, the company is known for delivering high-quality projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS early in their career to gain valuable experience in the civils sector, working alongside an experienced and supportive commercial team. Responsibilities Assist senior quantity surveyors with all commercial aspects of civil engineering projects. Support the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation. Help with procurement activities and subcontractor management. Monitor project costs and assist in preparing valuations and variations. Carry out measurements and compile progress reports. Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather project data. Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline. 3 -5 years experience in a QS role, with Irish civils experience essential. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Full Irish driving licence.
