Now, they’re seeking a Construction Director to lead their operations, drive project excellence, and play a pivotal role in their ambitious growth strategy .
The Role
As Construction Director , you will assume full responsibility for all construction operations , ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with a robust commercial team , senior leadership, and key stakeholders while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction .
This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to shape the future of a respected industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all construction operations , ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Drive project delivery across commercial, retail, civil, and residential sectors , managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial and contractual performance.
Mentor and develop site teams, project managers, and senior staff , promoting best practices.
Strengthen client relationships , securing repeat business and identifying new opportunities.
Contribute to the company’s growth strategy , supporting tendering and business development.
Requirements
10+ years in senior construction leadership (e.g., Construction Director, Operations Director, Senior Contracts Manager).
Proven track record in large-scale projects (commercial, retail, civil, or residential).
Strong financial and contractual acumen , with experience working alongside commercial teams.
Exceptional leadership, with the ability to inspire teams and drive performance .
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Strong client-facing skills , with a reputation for building lasting relationships.
