I am delighted to work with a fantastic company in Cork who, due to hard work and dedication of the onsite team, are experiencing serious growth. Due to this they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their Quality & Compliance team.

Reporting into the Compliance lead this individual will support in the area of material qualification and approval of relevant specifications (supplier and customer). This is an onsite role and will offer great exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Overview of Role

- A key cog in the Compliance team - this position requires an effective collaborator to work cross-functionally, and as part of a team.
- The Quality Engineer has responsibility for executing activities required for the maintenance and development of the Compliance Unit.
- This role is key to ensure the company meets the specification requirements of its local and international customers.

Experience & Qualifications

- 2 + years Bio/Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Nutraceutical or Food Science background
- A Science or Engineering degree

Key Responsibilities

- Involved in Material Qualification and approval of relevant specifications.
- General documentation control.
- Responsibility for Manufacturing Drawing Review and Approval.
- Involvement in component and assembly qualification.
- Involvement in the management of customer URS.
- Engagement with suppliers for validation documentation.
- Management of BOM qualification and drawings through the ERP system.
- Involvement in customer validation libraries.
