Solution Architect Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of enterprise solutions, support large transformation programmes, and guide modernisation across cloud and hybrid environments. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working in Dublin 6-month day rate contract (likely to extend) Responsibilities: Define application, integration, data, and security architectures. Design solutions for complex on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. Produce architecture documentation and design artefacts. Support strategic planning for future IT platforms and services. Apply architecture frameworks, governance, and best practices. Oversee design implementation and ensure technical alignment. Contribute to modernisation initiatives, including APIs and microservices. Lead workshops, PoCs, and technical discussions with clients. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Required Experience: 5+ years as a Solution or Technical Architect. Previous experience as a hands-on Java engineer/tech lead. Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and modernisation. Experience across multiple platform and database technologies. Understanding of microservices, API design, identity, and interoperability. Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices. Ability to produce clear architecture documentation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
