Position: Qualified Butcher Location: Skerries, Co. Dublin Industry: Retail (Supermarket Fresh Food Department) Salary: €36,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (including weekends and public holidays) Overview A large, modern supermarket in Skerries is seeking an experienced Qualified Butcher to join their busy butchery department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong fresh food knowledge and proven customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day operations of the butchery department. Serve customers at the counter, ensuring a professional and friendly experience. Prepare, cut, and display meat products to the highest standards. Maintain attractive counter merchandising and displays. Comply with all HACCP and food safety procedures. Work collaboratively as part of a busy team while also using initiative. Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a butcher in a busy retail or commercial environment. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Strong knowledge of fresh meat and butchery products. HACCP trained. Excellent customer care skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
