Assistant Store Manager - Patrick Street, Cork

Permanent, Full Time role (37.5 hours per week)

Join us as an Assistant Store Manager to be part of a team that is forward thinking and focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

- Lead and motivate the team to consistently deliver targets and drive store performance.

- Manage P&Ls and maximise margins; understand KPIs for the store and teams in areas such as sales, stock, audit, and security.

- Support day-to-day store operations and coach high-performing teams to excel.

- Influence and gain commitment from others through sharing knowledge and experiences.

- Champion the best customer experience in store and WOW every guest.

- Assist customers through the discovery, experience, and purchase process; speak to Three’s connected life vision.

- Drive sales and ensure store is fit to trade; maintain updated product knowledge and participate in training.

- Engage with customers to match them to appropriate products and services; cross-sell and upsell as appropriate.

- Lead and support the team in problem solving, customer issues, and ensuring a positive environment.

- Prepare for and support store audits and retail loss prevention policies and processes.

You will be involved in

- Taking ownership of customer issues and resolving them with a patient, professional approach.

- Promoting self-service with a show-and-tell approach and the My3 app.

- Taking responsibility for running the store in the absence of the manager.

- Working in a fast-paced environment across sales floor, stock management, tills, and merchandising.

Requirements / Skills

- Strong experience in retail with a track record of achieving targets.

- Previous experience in a customer-facing/service role.

- Passionate about delivering an outstanding guest experience.

- Ability to work towards targets and motivate a team for continuous improvement.

- Clear communication; ability to explain complex information in everyday language.

- Adherence to policies and procedures; capable of running the store in the manager’s absence.

- Comfortable leading in a changing, fast-paced environment across multiple store functions.
