Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their expressed goals Instructor Permanent, 21 hours per week Location: National Learning Network - 7th Floor, Phibsboro Tower, Phibsborough Rd, Phibsborough, Dublin, D07 XH2D Job Purpose : The Instructor is responsible for the training and development of Learners in accordance with the agreed local training programme specifications, together with the day-to-day running and maintenance of all aspects of the training programmes. Minimum Education & Experience required: Third level qualification, preferably within the Education/Training or Social Sciences sector. A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum. A number of year's relevant occupational experience of working with learners in educational, guidance and/or developmental contexts. Experience in QQI certification and accreditation processes. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, with responsibility for the instruction of a number of modules for QQI Levels 3 & 4 to help learners achieve certification. As part of a team liaise appropriately with relevant key stakeholders in order to maintain programme allocations. Collaborate on the development of the Individual Action Plans to support each Learner's progression and evaluate the vocational rehabilitation needs of each Learner in order to produce a profile of those needs. Source and support Learners to obtain work experience placements and instil by example and direct training proper work attitudes and work behaviours. Additional requirements As part of our recruitment process, if applicable, candidates will be required to provide a Police certificate from the countries they have resided prior coming to Ireland.
