Horizons is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist - Part Time to join an interdisciplinary team within Childrens Disability Network Team 8, Central Cork.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will support children with complex needs and their families, including those with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborative goal setting
- Individual and group intervention
- Assessment and monitoring of physical development
- Postural management equipment prescription
The post holder will work across various settings, including clinics, hydrotherapy pools, preschools, schools, special schools, children's homes, and community settings.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
- Be registered on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
- Have three years full-time relevant post-qualification clinical experience, including experience supporting children with disabilities
- Have a high standard of suitability and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
- Hold a full, clean driving license and have access to a car for travel between locations
