We believe that this acquisition further strengthens Storm’s service portfolio for both new and existing clients in Ireland, particularly within the managed IT services and cyber security space, and facilitates future growth, enabling the delivery of its Microsoft business solutions to the UK market. In turn, this will see both companies extend their capabilities across larger scale projects and to a wider breadth of clients. Together, Storm Technology and Littlefish will continue to deliver industry leading services to existing customers across the areas of managed IT services, cloud services, and strategic consultancy. About this Contract for Services

We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant who is passionate about data analytics and helping customers achieve more with their data. As part of our Data and AI consultancy we aim to help our customers of all sizes to gain greater insights through understanding, modelling and predicting better outcomes. With new clients coming into the business we are currently expanding and looking for someone to join our team. This role will report directly to the Data and AI Practice Director and will work closely with other customers, team leads, technical consultants, resource managers and developers across the business to ensure practice goals and objectives are met.

Service prioritise and key areas of delivery focus:

- Work with clients to understand what they need from their data.
- Advise clients on data strategy, architecture, and governance aligned with their business goals.
- Conduct data maturity assessments and recommend roadmaps for transformation.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, acting as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Fabric, staying up to date with new features and capabilities.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise during client engagements.
- Participate in discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution scoping.
- Develop and present proof-of-concepts (PoCs), demos, and solution proposals.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and client presentations.
- Build trusted relationships with clients by understanding their business challenges and aligning data solutions accordingly.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and developers.
- Technical Requirements of the Successful Contractor:

- Proven experience delivering data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Dataflows, Notebooks, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks) is a plus.
- Demonstrates an understanding of enterprise BI and Data Warehousing tools, concepts and methods
- Experience in pre-sales or client-facing consulting roles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
- Comfortable working in a client-facing role with a consultative and business development mindset.
- Experience with SSRS / SSAS (Tabular with DAX & OLAP with MDX) / SSIS
- Experience with Databricks, Pyspark, and other data sciences tools
- Experience of using Azure DevOps / Git
- Microsoft Certified on Data (e.g. Fabric)
