Operational Risk Associate New

This role involves supporting the operational risk and resilience frameworks within a regulated Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) entity. It requires collaboration across global business functions, managing operational risks, and developing solutions to improve controls and processes. Key areas include third-party risk assessment, IT risk management, and aligning with regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the operational risk framework for new and existing product strategies.
- Assist with annual risk and control self-assessments.
- Investigate operational risk events and conduct root cause analysis.
- Identify process weaknesses, raise issues, and oversee resolution.
- Contribute to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and operational risk register.
- Administer operational risk tools, including supporting configurations and testing methodology changes.
- Produce operational risk reports for various Boards and Committees, including root cause analysis.
- Respond to RFPs and client Due Diligence Questionnaires.
- Support the integration of Tableau for reporting and ESG considerations in the risk framework.
- Assist with the implementation of Wolters Kluwer - OneSumX GRC for operational risk management.
- Support operational resilience, ICT risk management, and business continuity frameworks, including third-party due diligence.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant subject.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in operational/IT risk or internal audit within an asset/investment management firm.
