Are you a talented Sous Chef with a passion for the culinary arts? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team in Cork where they can showcase their skills and creativity.

We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef who has at least 5 years of experience in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen. If you have a thorough understanding of HACCP, expertise in food standards, presentation, and handling, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design of food menus
  • Produce high-quality plates, encompassing both design and taste
  • Oversee and supervise kitchen staff
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and supply management
  • Evaluate and ensure that food is of top quality, and the kitchen is well-maintained
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, organized 4-star hotel/restaurant kitchen
  • Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards, and presentation
  • Demonstrated success in leading a team to achieve high standards
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and motivational skills
  • Able to motivate and inspire the team
  • Sound knowledge and passion for food
  • Thorough understanding of HACCP
  • Thorough knowledge of kitchen management
  • Honest, reliable, and hardworking
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cost structures and budget
