Our team is looking for a Program manager to work with various stakeholder groups to procure data center capacity, support long term scaling strategies for AWS's infrastructure regions, and manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure agreements. As the Program Manager, you will research, manage and facilitate all areas of transaction deal flow related to data center procurement projects in the region across all commercial deals.

Our Program Managers lead teams of internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the Data Center commercial lifecycle as designed in our Supply Qualification process from initial site due diligence through Construction and into Operation. The core role of the program manager is to support delivering capacity for our customers through developing stakeholder programs, process development and working closely with various
identify risks and resolve issues to ensure those agreements are executed on time.

Program Management, Process Development and Optimization:

• Drive integration between software and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal system performance and capacity management

• Lead cross-functional collaboration between ML and related and DCSS teams to improve information flow and system integration

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key software teams to ensure early awareness of technical limitations and requirements

• Participate in capacity planning initiatives, particularly relating to AZ configurations and infrastructure scaling

• Create and maintain documentation for technical limitations and requirements across different systems

• Facilitate knowledge transfer between regional and global teams
Stakeholder Management and Communication:

• Represent regional interests in global technical discussions and strategic planning sessions

• Drive engagement with Global team to maintain relationships and ensure alignment with global initiatives

• Lead stakeholder engagement across technical and business teams

• Drive strategic discussions with platform teams regarding regional infrastructure needs

• Provide technical consultation and constructive feedback on proposed solutions

• Build and maintain relationships with key technical decision-makers across the organization
Technical Leadership:

• Oversee technical integration projects between software and infrastructure teams

• Provide technical expertise in strategic capacity discussions

• Guide teams on infrastructure limitations and requirements

• Identify and communicate technical risks and opportunities

• Participate in technical design reviews and provide recommendations
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure operations, or similar roles
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of data center operations and infrastructure scaling
• Experience with process improvement and program management methodologies
• Proven track record of developing and implementing technical processes and procedures
• Experience in compliance documentation and policy implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Technical Knowledge Requirements:
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and limitations
• Knowledge of software integration principles and practices
• Familiarity with infrastructure capacity planning and management
• Understanding of availability zone (AZ) concepts and limitations
• Experience with technical documentation and process mapping
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in technical environments
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms
