Overview

We are looking for a capable sous with a take charge attitude. A Sous who will be ready to take charge in the absence of the Head. This is a Sous position in one of County Sligo's best loved traditional hotels. This is a high-volume kitchen with a great working atmosphere and a low staff turnover.

As we leave the pandemic behind there are an awful lot of jobs chasing not very many chefs. However, this is one of those jobs that only comes to market very occasionally, it/u2019s a bit of a keeper.

The outgoing sous chef has been a happy camper in this kitchen for several years and leaves the job with a mixture of excitement and satisfaction.

So now, our client, is looking for their next happy camper. So if you are ready to pitch your tent in one of Ireland's most beautiful rural locations this is a job you should speak to us about very soon.

Responsibilities

- Take charge in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Work in a high-volume kitchen within a traditional hotel.
- Support a positive working atmosphere and staff during service.

Qualifications

- Experience as a Sous Chef or in a leadership role in a busy kitchen.
- Ability to lead and make decisions in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Willingness to work in a rural, scenic location in County Sligo, Ireland.
