Optometrist

TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire Optometrist based in Limerick for temporary work. This is envisioned to be a 3 months contract.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses. A significant part of the role involves working with children, so experience and skills in pediatric optometry are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough eye examinations for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric care.
- Diagnose and manage vision problems and eye diseases.
- Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about vision care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

- Optometry Qualification.
- Must be CORU registered.
- Experience in pediatric is desirable but not necessary.
- Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
- Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
- Candidates who have lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months over the age of 16 will be required to produce International Police Clearance. Failure to have this document during the initial recruitment stages will result in an unsuccessful application.
