As we continue our journey toward becoming Irelands most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Finance team as an Accountant. The Qualified Accountant will support the Senior Accountant in all areas of financial reporting. What you'll be doing: Timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly accounts for CoCo (Company Owned Company Operated) stores. First review of management accounts before presentation of same to Senior Accountant and Divisional FC and/or Head of Finance. Responsible for period end routines and journal entries across multiple sites Responsible for quarterly Intercompany reconciliations and ensuring timely intercompany settlements. Ownership of Balance Sheet accounts for reporting entity and responsibility for reconciliation and Group Reporting Revenue return preparation & submission in accordance with Revenue deadlines Complete interim & year end audits in accordance with tight deadlines acting as a point of contact for auditor queries Identify and assess risks and inefficiency throughout the business Act as a point of contact for store queries Other Ad Hoc duties on request What we'er looking for: Qualified Accountant with membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA 2-3 minimum years experience working in finance function Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organisation Attention to detail with strong financial and analytical skills Ability to demonstrate experience in working in a fast paced environment Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business Ability to demonstrate strong initiative and an achievement orientated approach to results Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with respect to large data sets Desirable: Use of Dynamics 365 Business Central, Blackline & Oracle financial systems Why Musgrave: Career Development: With a commitment to your personal and professional growth, Musgrave offers numerous opportunities for advancement and learning.
