Find out more about our global programme .**Where could you work:**As a Graduate Health and Safety professional, you'll enjoy variety, working on large and small projects with the opportunity to explore different career pathways, including consulting and design.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Health & Safety Professional to join our dynamic and experienced safety team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of sectors including education, healthcare, transport such as rail and aviation and utilities.You will support the delivery of PSDP services, health & safety consultancy, and site auditing on live construction projects. This role offers excellent exposure to real-world safety management and the opportunity to grow within a supportive and knowledgeable team.Help us reimagine our places and spaces, from transport hubs to university campuses, industrial facilities, and critical flood defense schemes - we touch every aspect of social and economic environments.**Your purpose:*** Assist in ensuring construction projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including local legislation and industry standards.* Participate in identifying potential hazards and conducting risk assessments across project sites and engineering activities.* Support the planning and execution of safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations, documenting findings and recommending improvements.* Help prepare safety plans, method statements, and technical documentation to support safe project delivery.* Contribute to initiatives that promote a strong safety culture across engineering teams, including toolbox talks and training sessions.* Work closely with engineers, contractors, and site managers to integrate safety into design and construction processes.* Observe and report on site activities to ensure safe working practices are being followed, escalating concerns where necessary.* Participate in reviews and feedback sessions to improve health and safety processes and stay updated on best practices and innovations in the field.**What you can bring:*** Minimum Level 8 degree in Occupational Safety Health and Welfare.* A passion for working in a consultancy environment.* Championing a culture where everyone belongs.* A desire to learn and work collaboratively with a curious approach, challenging yourself to find new solutions.* Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team.* Motivation to achieve professional accreditation (where applicable).* Comfortably embrace agile ways of working and learning new technologies.* Commitment to spend a minimum of three days a week in the office or on client site (project dependent).
