Hydrogeologist

Job Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist to join our team in Ireland.
- You will conduct hydrogeological assessments, manage groundwater resources, and support environmental impact studies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct groundwater investigations, sampling, and data analysis.
- Develop and manage groundwater monitoring programs.
- Assess impacts of developments on groundwater.
- Design and supervise monitoring well installations.
- Prepare technical reports and interpret hydrogeological data.
- Use modeling software to simulate groundwater flow and contaminant transport.
- Provide groundwater management and remediation advice.
- Collaborate on environmental impact assessments and risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Perform fieldwork and adhere to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Professional experience in hydrogeology.
- Proficiency in hydrogeological software (e.g., MODFLOW, GMS). Experience with GIS and data analysis.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
