We are looking for a Senior Manager, Global Procurement -Direct / Raw Materials, with experience in end-to-end procurement strategies/processes and with proven successful global category execution in Contract Development and Manufacturing Operations. This role may be based at one of our Manufacturing Operations locations in either the Capitol Region in NY USA, or Limerick, IRE and requires working onsite 5 days per week, this is not open to remote or hybrid work. As a Sr. Manager, Global procurement a typical day may include: Sourcing Develops and executes global/local sourcing strategies for the respective area of spend responsibility and optimizes value within the organization. Leads, or works with stakeholder teams to solve sourcing needs when supply market analysis is needed to meet a business requirement. Responsible to manage all aspects of sourcing events including but not limited to; Request for Proposals/Quotes/Information (RFP, RFQ, RFI, collectively RFx). Develops and executes global/local market sourcing initiatives to optimize value, quality, innovation, speed to market, or other business needs. Identifies global/local supply market projects and applies sourcing tools to optimize benefits to Regeneron. Contracting Responsible for negotiating the commercial terms of contractual agreements with suppliers/spend under management, including but not limited to pricing, delivery, payment terms, and quality. Partner with the law department, quality, risk management, and supply chain to uniformly support the inclusion of relevant of contractual terms and conditions. Supplier/SRM Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives including, but not limited to, conducting performance meetings, driving the development and use of scorecards, working with stakeholders to review performance metrics, and managing supplier relationships to achieve the goals of the category strategy. Develops and implements strategies to drive supplier performance objectives and contracted outcomes are delivered, e.g. Savings, SLAs, delivery, quality, etc. Supports and advocates using contracted suppliers with stakeholders to meet business needs when appropriate. Continuous Improvement Support continuous improvements of the source-to-contract process. This may include, but not limited to, responding to audit information requests, participating in compliance reviews, and working collaboratively with the sourcing/category team on department and company-wide initiatives. Participate in and/or submit at least one, or more continuous improvement ideas per year in the CI SharePoint under JDI or SLIMMY initiative types. Support inquiries to inform and educate stakeholders regarding the sourcing and contract process and seek to identify system/process enhancements. Direct Materials Management Works with stakeholders to support the use of contracted suppliers for the spend category under management. Reviews and approves PO's in the Oracle workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits. Ensures that contracts and quotes are accurately reflected on the PO before approving, attaches executive justification summaries, and negotiation/savings summaries if applicable. This role may be for you if you have: Working knowledge with Sourcing Contracting, ERP, eRFX systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, iCertis, Other) Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Previous leadership / supervisorial experience preferred. Advanced level proficiency using negotiations skills Cost modeling knowledge Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to formulate presentations and business cases Ability to build consensus, teamwork, and creativity within a collaborative team with limited supervision Program management experience and project management experience required To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's plus 8+ years of relevant, progressive experience, to preferably include 6 years directly in sourcing Pharma/Biotech, or a Master's plus 6+ years of relevant, progressive experience, to preferably include 4 years directly in sourcing within Pharma/Biotech.
