Due to ongoing business growth, we currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join the facilities team with our Shannon based multinational Aviation client. In this broad, predominantly autonomous position, the person will be responsible for building and offering support to the Facilities Team in the hangar. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that the presentation of the facility remains at a very high standard. The core responsibilities will include: Maintenance duties Painting and Small Maintenance Repairs. Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance duties - Ensuring the facilities are maintained to the highest standard. Promote and demonstrate a safety mind-set in all aspects of Facilities work. Support the EPA and hazardous waste management processes as required. Assist with the mandatory inspections and preventative maintenance program for mechanical and building infrastructure. Assist with external service providers in the execution of the preventative maintenance program and reactive work requests, including task assignment. Provide on-call cover as part of a Facilities Team roster. Works closely with the Production Project Teams to maximise production uptime. Willing to upskilled in other duties as required. Demonstrates an excellent attitude to safety, leads by example. Demonstrates appropriate attitude and behaviour in support of safe working practices and maintenance standards.
