The Role
As a Software Engineer at Everseen, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, responsible for implementing new features, integrating software solutions, and ensuring the robustness of our systems through meticulous unit testing code reviews. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to the development of groundbreaking products that drive our industry forward.

What you’ll do (Main responsibilities)

Design and develop new features and functionalities in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and enhance user experience.

Evaluate, integrate, and maintain third-party software solutions to optimize system performance and expand product capabilities.

Develop comprehensive unit tests to validate code functionality, ensure software quality, and minimize regression risks.

Create and maintain CI/CD integrations using Gitlab CI.

Monitor production logs to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring seamless operation and timely resolution of any anomalies.

Investigate reported bugs, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions to address issues promptly and maintain system stability.

Collaborating With

Everseen’s Validation, DevOps, Product, Operations teams and customer’s technical teams.

Profile and Skills

Design and Development:

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist with the design and development of new features and functionalities.

Ensures that the developed solutions meet project objectives and enhance user experience.

Coding:

Assists with the design and implementation of reusable, testable, efficient, and elegant code based on requirements.

Ensures adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Data Analysis:

Analyzes and collects data from various sources such as log files, application stack traces, and thread dumps.

Utilizes data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

Creates and maintains CI/CD integration using various tools.

Assists with automating the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Integration of Third-Party Solutions:

Assists with the evaluation and integration of third-party software solutions to optimize system performance.

Expands product capabilities by integrating compatible third-party solutions.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Monitors production logs to identify and troubleshoot issues promptly.

Ensures seamless operation and timely resolution of any anomalies to maintain system reliability.

Documentation:

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation to ensure code, systems, and processes are clearly understood and easily accessible by team members and stakeholders.

Additional skills

Technical skills:

1-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Ability to work with Linux systems, including troubleshooting skills such as log investigations, performance testing, and connectivity investigation.

Intermediate knowledge of advanced concepts like microservices and distributed systems, indicating an understanding of modern software development architectures.

Intermediate understanding of cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization principles.

Intermediate understanding of cloud computing technologies and services, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).

Interest in Learning and Growth Mindset

Curiosity to explore new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance skills and capabilities.

Results-oriented attitude, with a drive to achieve objectives efficiently.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to inform product decisions. This skill is essential for identifying market opportunities, optimizing product features, and addressing challenges effectively.
