Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Planning team due to increasing demand for our services. The successful candidate will work on projects in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, requiring relevant and recent experience in these areas.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of renewable energy projects, utilising skills acquired through formal training, personal interest and previous work experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of planning applications for renewable energy projects.
  • Oversee and review inputs on renewable energy planning projects from inception to completion, interacting with stakeholders, clients and project team members.
  • Undertake reviews of planning assessments, reports and project planning inputs.
  • Act as main point of contact with client representatives to progress projects effectively.
  • Engage with relevant authorities and stakeholders in environmental and planning projects.
  • Deliver fit-for-purpose project outputs within set deadlines.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent report writing skills, be well organised with meticulous attention to detail, and able to manage a varied and full workload. They should thrive in a busy work environment and meet required project deadlines.

The successful candidate will have minimum 6 years post-graduate planning experience, ideally in a consultancy environment, and hold a full driver's licence.
