Overview

A fantastic opportunity with a leading top 10 firm to grow its Environment and Planning offering. They seek a solicitor with strong environmental, planning and infrastructure experience to join the team.

The team provides integrated planning and environmental law advice on complex matters across industries, including local authorities, private developers, waste management companies and transport providers. The team is well resourced and collaborates with other departments in the firm to offer advice and solutions. The practice stays ahead of changes in the legal landscape and seeks a solicitor with a genuine interest in this area to join the firm.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality environmental and planning law advice and solutions to clients.

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other departments within the firm.

- Stay abreast of evolving legal issues in the environmental and planning space and contribute to proactive guidance for clients.

- Deliver pragmatic, first-class legal advice with attention to detail and initiative.

Qualifications

- Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE in environmental law or related areas; Senior Associate level candidates considered.

- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Genuine interest in environmental, planning and infrastructure practice.
