▷ (Immediate Start) Clinical Skills Tutor (General Nursing)

Job Description The post is to teach practical clinical skills and theory in general nursing to students and registered nurses in the Trinity Simulation Suite on the St James’s Campus, online, in classroom settings, and in designated clinical practice areas. The Clinical Tutor will primarily contribute to undergraduate teaching while also supporting postgraduate education through supervision and mentoring as directed by the Head of School. This role fosters student development and supports the School’s commitment to excellence in mental health nursing education and research.
Requirements and Qualifications Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or equivalent; identify all registrations held.
Experience in clinical teaching in classroom and healthcare environments; ability and commitment to advancing quality of clinical teaching; examples of teaching innovation preferred.
Experience using technology in teaching; ability to plan teaching and manage workload; ability to work on own initiative, and demonstrate leadership and teamwork.
Previous experience in supervisory roles or mentorship in clinical education is desirable.
Salary on Nurse Tutor (General) scale (€72,339 - €81,177 per annum) depending on experience.
