European Energy is a green energy company experiencing exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate wind and solar PV projects globally and are at the forefront of the emerging green Hydrogen/Power-to-X sectors. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.

You will be part of European Energy Ireland but also work closely with the HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will interact with the other teams in the business, have numerous opportunities to define your role, and grow as a professional.

We are a committed and motivated team. Respect, collaboration, and a sense of shared and individual responsibility describe the very core of our cooperation. We have a flat hierarchy with open and honest dialogue, and when you are given a mandate, we trust in your abilities.

Your New Role - Accelerate Your Career

Our project pipeline in Ireland is growing and we seek an experienced Greenfield Renewable Energy Project Manager to develop our greenfield pipeline of existing and new projects. You will be hands-on in technical, organizational, and commercial aspects and form a key part of the Irish team.

You will be responsible for developing solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS renewable energy projects in the Irish market to the ready-to-build (RTB) stage. The ideal candidate will have a track record in Irish-based renewable energy project development and be able to manage stakeholders, drive forward development activity, and successfully navigate the consenting phase. - Manage the permitting process on multiple projects and coordinate the team of involved internal and external providers and stakeholders.
- Develop project models & schedules, create budgets, and produce investment opportunity summaries.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues using clear communication and prioritization.
- Engage with various stakeholders and occasionally negotiate land agreements, leases, access, and cable easements.
- Originate new projects using market knowledge, in-house tools, and your network connectivity.

Your Profile

- You have a Bachelor´s in Engineering, Planning, Science, or Project Management.
- You have 3+ years of Irish renewable energy development experience including some/all; landowner interactions, planning permission development and evidence of success where possible, the Irish electricity grid, and management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- You are proactive and diligent, have a high work ethic, and can take initiative.
- You can balance quality in the context of time & cost pressure.
- You are currently a resident of Ireland and are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- You are familiar with MS Excel models, PowerPoint, and GIS and may have experience with other project management or renewable energy tools.
- You have a valid driving license.

We Offer

- An entrepreneurial approach to our work. In daily life, it means it is not far from thought to action.
- Competitive terms of employment including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and health insurance.
- Trusted responsibilities with long-term opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally.
- The opportunity to work with friendly, supportive, and collaborative colleagues who actively contribute to a profitable, growing, and successful global group.
- There is a yearly company trip to Denmark which allows meeting everyone in a different environment.
- Remote and hybrid work options.
