Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) - Oncology
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Nursing
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) - Oncology to join a large acute Hospital in Dublin. The CNM2 will play a key leadership role in overseeing oncology services, ensuring excellence in patient care, and supporting staff development. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional looking to advance their career in a leading healthcare facility.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage the oncology nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, promoting professional development.
Coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation efficiently.
Participate in audits, research, and education initiatives.
Provide leadership in infection control, health & safety, and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience: Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience , with at least 2 years in oncology.
Experience in a nursing leadership or management role.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology treatments and protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
