Job Description:

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Facility Security Coordinator (FSC) at Shannon.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. The FSC will be recognized as one of the responsible persons for Site Security by the Civil Aviation Authority.
2. Ensure compliance of the site Aviation Security Program.
3. Ensure the site is compliant to the UPS Aviation Security processes as described in the Region MOP and specific LOP.
4. Responsible to ensure compliance of approved screening methods.
5. Responsible to ensure compliance of the Chain of Custody process for secure cargo.
6. Ability to manage a threat escalation situation.
7. Carry out daily, weekly and monthly Quality Assurance controls.
8. Coordinates Internal Audits.
9. Supports Authority Inspections.
10. Responsible for Security KPIs and on time Reporting.
11. Reports to UK District ASO (Aviation Security Officer).
12. Liaises with Gateway Management.
13. Managing & developing the capabilities of the Avsec team members.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and attributes:

1. Previous experience in Aviation Security, Specialist or Team Leader an advantage.
2. High competency with MS Office & good knowledge of UPS Systems, Networks & Products.
3. Ability to work in a pressurized and dynamic environment.
4. Able to work to tight deadlines and have good time management skills.
5. Aptitude for problem solving and developing preventative solutions.
6. Open to working additional hours and auditing other UPS regulated facilities.
7. Collaboration and engagement with other District AvSec colleagues on weekly calls.
8. Fluency in English is essential both written and verbal.
9. Good knowledge of UPS Systems, Networks, Products.
10. Able to work under tight deadlines.
11. 5-year verifiable Background check.
