Your New Job
Key duties and responsibilities:

- Manage the finance function and team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and robust internal controls.
- Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and longer-term financial planning in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Focus on cost analysis, pricing strategies, and profitability assessments for the company’s product portfolio.
- Oversee and participate in the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
- Support the leadership team with monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and insights to drive business performance and improve cost efficiency.
- Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to assess market opportunities, pricing adjustments, and cost-effectiveness of initiatives.
- Provide oversight, guidance and support to the finance team on financial reporting and accounting duties. Supervise cash flow and working capital management, ensuring financial stability.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Support business growth by evaluating investment opportunities, funding requirements, and return on investment for new projects.
- Lead ERP improvements and reporting enhancements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Act as a key contributor to product development processes, offering insights on costings, margins, and financial feasibility.
- Drive ESG initiatives and targets, including sustainability and environmental accounting.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Actively participate in cross-functional management meetings, contributing to Operational, Marketing, Quality and NPD strategy discussions.

What Are We Looking For?

- Qualified Accountant with at least 4 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in financial management, with a focus on cost analysis, pricing, and commercial strategy.
- Background in food production or FMCG sectors is preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Knowledge of sustainability and ESG practices and regulations is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
